With Phase Two, releasing October 28, 2008, the ChatBlazer team will bring another set of cutting edge features to the ChatBlazer 8 software. It is all about Audio Video! “I’m Next” Feature: Just like raising your hand in a classroom. This new conferencing feature acknowledges room users desire to speak plus allows ChatBlazer AV users to have the microphone passed to them while in an audio video conference.
Share YouTube Videos: Add the latest YouTube Video to your Chat and share the hottest band or the funniest classroom prank.
Advanced Audio/Video User Features: Personal and professional privacy is always at the forefront of our minds, Phase Two will bring more user privacy and usability with advanced AV viewing options:
- Request private chats
- Know who is watching you're A/V stream
- Block users from viewing your stream
- Floating Audio/Video windows
Wowza server: Increased flexibility for server license users as we will support Wowza Media Systems. Wowza is an affordable flash media server offering robust configurations and streaming solutions.
Chat Timer: Control the time a member or guest is on the chat; helping to control bandwidth usage, conversation flow and the chat experience for all users
Enhanced Moderation Features:
Dynamic user list: Make sure important members and users are getting recognized, reorder users by role and users with raised hand automatically can be set to move to top of the list.
User gag controls: Gag users from text or A/V use, giving the moderator more control and flexibility
throughout the conversation
Microphone controls: The moderator now has the ability to pass the microphone to/from users to control the flow of the chat or prevent unwanted behavior.
Innovative Moderator Control Panel
Floating window: Strategically place your moderator panel to meet the current conversations needs, making it more efficient to control several rooms at once.
Selected Message: Highlight just the messages that you want to send or delete with one easy click
Moderator cue: Keep the meeting or conversation going, the moderator cue alerts you know when a new person sends a message.
Sticky Messages: Fix a message to the top of the chat string, allowing new room visitors to quickly join in and understand the conversation.
