Weekly Maintenance Announcement
Dear ChatBlazer Clients,
In order to perform routine maintenance for all hosted ChatBlazer 8.5 clients, we must schedule a weekly downtime. Keep in mind that your hosted account will not be accessible during this maintenance window and we encourage you not to make major changes immediately prior to the scheduled downtime.
- Starting October 7, 2009 the weekly maintenance window for all hosted accounts will be every Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 am EST.

More stability, security, usability and features have made their way into this latest upgrade and are available to all hosted clients for no extra charge. In order to provide all hosted clients with ChatBlazer 8.5, we must schedule a downtime to upgrade the hosted server. Keep in mind that your hosted account will not be accessible during this time and we encourage you not to make major changes immediately prior to the scheduled downtime.

Attention Current Free Hosted Trial Clients
Version 8.5 Free Hosted Trial Server update
ChatBlazer will be updating our free hosted trial server on August 26, 2009 to version 8.5. If you have signed up for a free trial within the last 15 days, the account will be deleted. You will need to signup for another free hosted trial account, which will include all of the new 8.5 features.

ChatBlazer Virtual Server Migration (vshsvr2)
Dear ChatBlazer Virtual Server Hosting customer,
We will be upgrading our server that is currently hosting your virtual server hosting account. The server upgrading and migration of accounts will take place on Friday, Jan 9, 2009 at 0300 EST. The downtime is expected to last 2 hours.
There is nothing you need to do for this migration.
Please avoid making changes to your account just before the migration.
As there will be a DNS record change for "vshsvr2.chatblazer.net", the DNS
change may or may not have percolated to your network after the downtime. To
check if you are looking at the right server, please visit
http://vshsvr2.chatblazer.net/ok.html. If you cannot see the page, it means
the DNS change has not happened for you yet. Please wait a few hours.

ChatBlazer’s support staff will be pushing phase two to all hosted and license clients on Monday, October 28, 2008 from 3am to 5am EDT.
Your existing client configuration should work fine. If you have any problems, you can update your client's configuration to the latest version by logging into your chat hosting control panel and then using the Restore function in the "Manage Client Configuration Section."
