Administrative Component

ChatBlazer simplifies the maintenance of chat rooms. Administrators can easily manage and monitor the chat server remotely using any Java-enabled browser or on their Mac or Windows desktops. The administrator can set all sorts of parameters around chat usage, such as time of day, maximum usage hours, etc. In addition, the software's multi-site capability allows organizations to setup distinct chat sites yet retain centralized chat management.

Phase one and two of the ChatBlazer 8 allows moderators to granulate room use and control user activity even more with advanced room group separation, customized room-based roles, raised hand indicator and pass the microphone feature.

User Management Console
Easily manage user profiles, create user groups, assign roles such as monitors, moderators, and speakers, assign access permissions, restrict availability of specific usernames, and more.

Profanity Filter Manager
Moderate and "clean" chat rooms of unsavory text. Profanity substitution characters can replace offending words with characters of your choice.

Private Rooms
Support private rooms with access key entry.

Multi-Site Capability
Utilize centralized chat service management for customers who wish to set up distinct chat sites. This is especially suitable for companies who need to set up department-specific chat sites but want to manage users, channels, and rooms from one administrator interface.

Chat Scheduler
Set the chat services operation dates and times. Modify the service so that it may only be available certain times of day, weekends, etc.

Ban and Kick
Take control over your chat network and moderated chat events and ban misbehaving users by IP address or usernames.
